Holdyard airport parking held in writing, Milwaukee +1 (414) 431-6802 Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Central

Holdyard books parking and nothing else, as an independent service provider. No airline, hotel chain, government agency or other brand is affiliated with it. None endorses it. None sponsors it, and it owns and operates no lot of its own.

This counter answers

When Each Question Has to Be Asked

The most useful thing on this site for somebody short of time, and the only line on the worksheet that is about the calendar at all.

The four fields

What the hold asks
For each line on the worksheet, how late can it still be put to a lot and get a useful answer
What comes back
A deadline per line, set by how long lots actually take to reply rather than by anything this counter would prefer
When to ask
Now, before the request, because two of the eight lines are already closed by the time most people start looking
If it is not asked
The question goes out anyway and the quote records that it went out late and got no answer, which is a worse outcome than knowing in advance

The deadlines

The lineStill worth askingWhy it closes when it does
The perimeter, in the lot's own wordsUp to the day beforeIt is a standing description and a lot can send it at any time
The shuttle timetableAbout three days aheadA lot will confirm a current pattern quickly; confirming a pattern for a future month takes somebody to look
Access after a clearance runAbout a week ahead in winterThe people who can answer this are the people clearing ground, and in a heavy week they are not at a desk
The day rate if the return slipsAny time, including after you travelThis counter writes it, so it has no deadline
What the written quote containsAny timeSame reason
Whether a roof stays freeNo deadline, because no answer comesIt is in the silent group
Whether anyone is there at nightNo deadline, same reasonIt is in the silent group
An outlet within reachAbout a week aheadOnly a few lots have one at all, and finding which takes asking several

Why this is not a calendar

This counter deliberately does not organize itself around the calendar, because that is how another desk is arranged and repeating it would be a worse version of something already done well. The dates above are deadlines attached to questions, not a structure. There is no month by month table on this site and no stretch of dates here moves a price band.

What the dates do is stop the commonest disappointment: somebody asks a good question two days before travel and the answer arrives after they have gone.

The two lines that are already shut

By the time most people start looking for parking, the two silent lines have not become answerable. They will not. They are printed on the worksheet so that nobody spends a week chasing them, and the page for them says why in full.

If you are inside the deadlines

Then the useful order is: ask everything at once, take the quote, and decide from the answers plus the unanswered list. Splitting the questions over several days produces several partial quotes and no clearer picture.
